A road helmet with a MIPS low-friction liner, 22 vents and a 270 g shell. Light enough that you stop noticing it, ventilated enough for a July climb.
MIPS is a thin liner that lets the shell rotate slightly against your head during an angled impact β the kind of crash that actually happens on the road. It reduces the rotational forces transferred to your brain, and it adds only a few grams.
The retention dial adjusts one-handed while riding, and the straps lie flat under the ears without the usual fiddling. We will fit it to your head in the shop: a helmet that sits wrong protects you less than one that fits, and it costs nothing to get right.
